Hyperbolic psychological warfare and propaganda techniques render absurdity palatable. To gullible eyes, the slandermongers can make anyone look crazy, criminal, degenerate. New Age torturers taunt: "No one will believe you. Nobody respects you. Everybody laughs at you. You have no allies. You are alone. There is no way out."

Among individuals and organizations, a curious "sacrificial lamb" mentality prevails. Integrity, compassion, and decency fly out the window. Excuses and exceptions are made.

In a process the perpetrators call "complimenting," an unholy amalgam of corrupt cops and prosecutors, sick and twisted intelligence operatives, sinister Mafiosi, and medical and mental health officials make people an offer they can't refuse. I've never observed it, but I think it goes something like this:

2. "We represent this or that government agency (private foundation, victim's rights organization, etc.). We are here to ask for your cooperation in our investigation (experimental behavior modification program, etc.)"
   
   
3. "Here's a person who will come to you for help. There's something you should know about him. He is suspected of this, diagnosed as that, has a history of such and such, has been positively identified as this one or that one. Look what his neighbor (friend, former spouse, etc.) has to say about his lifestyle and his character. His doctor has this to say about him. Note how silly he looks in this photograph. What would be your first impression if you saw him doing this? The fact is, he's really not who he claims to be. He's really this one or that one. He did bad things and got away with them. You shouldn't believe what he says. He's dangerous. He's mentally incompetent. If you give him any attention, you'll only be feeding his delusions, standing in the way of his rehabilitation. It's best to discourage him. I'm sure you understand that he will only make progress when he is forced to face the truth about himself. That's our goal."
   
   
4. By this time, of course, the person addressed has caught the implied threat: "We can do this to anybody. Here's what we know about you and your organization. Here's how vulnerable you are. Now, you do a lot of good for a lot of people. It would be a shame to see your career -- your organization -- go down the drain just because of this one troublemaker. We don't have a problem with most of what you do. Just go along with us on this one and everything will be all right."
   

And so they do, and so it is -- for them, for the time being -- but the whole world is turning corrupt, and the end of the day will see the enslavement of all people of good will.

Underneath it all, you see, lurks the base and primal sentiment: "Better him than me."

I'm not sure whether I ever got back to you. If not, I apologize. Last November was a very difficult time for me -- a time of decision. As the link below my signature explains:

In October, 2003, an ultrasound scan and an MRI with contrast are said to have revealed a mass in my right kidney described as "highly suspicious" for cancer. This may or may not be the case. Physicians have lied to me in the past, claiming that 8% lymphocytes, relative to total white blood cells, is a normal test result. Removal of my better kidney would doom me to a lifetime of dialysis, preventing any further attempt to escape from the USA. I would not consent to surgery in October, fearing that I might not survive. Considering other health issues -- particularly the chronic infections for which my doctors will not provide curative treatment -- an open biopsy would involve the same degree of danger. Whatever the "mass" is, I am treating it myself with medicinal mushrooms (Reishi, Shiitake, ABM, and Maitake). So far, I have survived, but the outlook is uncertain.

This will seem blunt, but I have to stress the point while I'm still around to do so. My emphasis is not on publicity, but on justice. If any alternate media maven wishes to know about me, he has the same access to my web site that everybody else has. The attention of "conspiracy" journalists might soothe my wounded ego a bit, but it would not be likely to save my life or preserve the standards of human rights and human dignity. Only justice under law can do that. That's why my signature includes the link below it. The system must be made to work! The coverup must end! Corruption must yield to the Rule of Law! If that does not happen, all my suffering will have been in vain.
