As of December 15, 2014, my Twitter account (@whistblow) began to display the following message: "For security purposes, your account has been locked. Because we detected unusual activity, we locked your account to keep it safe. Change your password now to unlock your account." A button is provided that leads to a page asking me to request an-email that would allow me to change the password. Even though I have changed passwords on my Earthlink e-mail account, I have received no messages from Twitter, despite many attempts. I have no way of knowing whether e-mails were in fact sent to me. As it stands, my account is locked permanently. I can read tweets from others whom I follow, but I cannot send a tweet or retweet. There does not seem to be any way to contact Twitter to explain the problem.
This situation is clearly the result of malicious, systematic attacks on my computer, such as the “triple whammy” that forced me to perform a Factory Restore on December 19, 2014. Top-of –the-line Internet Security software provides no protection, nor will the law bring to justice the domestic and possibly international terrorists responsible for these and multitudinous other crimes.
